TIRIKITRAUKI is a shop specialising in the Basque traditional dress (baserritar jantziak). The shop was founded five years ago offering quality traditional Basque country clothes and accessories.

We also make our own dresses and costumes made o measre:with careful consideration given to the most suitable weave and desingn. This is achieved by researching and recording now our ancestors dressed, and the methods they used to make the clothes. For example the liviens, originating from plants, followed by the processes involved to become a weave with the end results of for example shirts, "pololoak"(worn underneath the skirts), etc…

These traditional methods have beeen thoroughly recorded and are now applied where applicable to the facilities for dress making we have today.

TIRIKITRAUKI is open all year round, with 120 m of additional facilities in the months of November and December for displaying and selling our extensive range of Basque traditional clothes.
